The Universal Financial Incentives Application must be submitted to request more than $250,000, from the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development, for real estate development/construction (capital) projects.
Eligible capital projects will be considered for all applicable funding sources, including:
Chicago Recovery Plan Community Development (Large Grants)
Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (Large Grants)
Next Funding Deadline: August 2024 (date TBD)
Those seeking a Cook County Property Tax Incentive (Classes: 6b, 7a, 7b, 7c, and C) must also complete and submit this application to receive City approval.
